 Clifford is a handsome, practical man who, due to his shyness and modesty, is quite unaware of the effect he has on women. He runs a business fixing small appliances but spends as much time giving advice as fixing faulty wiring.
He and George have been friends since they were kids, and he saved George's life by pulling him out of a river. It seems that his destiny may revolve around saving George's butt, if not his life. In many ways he serves as George's moral compass…even if George isn't always willing to listen to his sound advice the first time round.
Clifford respects the traditional ways and the elders. He feels that MOOSE TV should truly be a community station that serves the people of Moose. He keeps a Miichiwaap (the Cree word for teepee) in the front yard of his house. He also practices martial arts, which leads George to invite him to do a show on MOOSE TV called "Cliffercize".
